Scheimpflug Corneal Densitometry Changes After the Intrastromal Corneal Ring Segment Implantation

Intrastromal corneal ring segments (Keraring) significantly increase corneal backward scattering, particularly in the anterior 2-6mm annulus, 6 months post-implantation for keratoconus. This scattering correlates with changes in corneal shape and keratometry.
