Summary

Hybrid total hip arthroplasty (THA) with uncemented acetabular components shows improved long-term survival compared to all-cemented THA. This is particularly evident for revisions due to aseptic loosening, wear, and osteolysis in patients under 70.

Background:

Purpose of the Study:

  • To compare the long-term survival rates of all-cemented versus hybrid THA utilizing the Exeter Universal stem.
