[Prevention of recurrent post-coital cystitis using hymenoplasty]
Annales D'Urologie
|January 1, 1988
Abstract:
Young women who suffer from recurrent post-coital cystitis constantly present an anatomical disposition of the urethral meatus which predisposes them to these infections (posterior location anchored by hymenal adhesions), which can be corrected by a very simple operation (hymenoplasty) with good results in more than 90% of cases in a series of 30 cases with a certain follow-up.
