First-in-Man Study Evaluating the Emblok Embolic Protection System During Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement

This pilot study shows the Emblok embolic protection system is feasible and safe for cerebral protection during transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR). While most patients had new brain lesions, the system successfully captured debris, warranting further investigation.
