MicroRNA-126 (miR-126) is downregulated in colorectal cancer (CRC), and its upregulation inhibits CRC cell viability and growth. MiR-126 promotes autophagy and apoptosis by targeting the mTOR gene, offering a new therapeutic strategy for CRC.
