Abstract:
Megakaryocytes in circulation are rarely found in blood smear; however, several studies have reported megakaryocytes as present in the peripheral blood of patients with hematological neoplasms. Herein we report a number of cases of megakaryocytes in peripheral blood smears of patients with non-hematological diseases observed in our clinical practice.
