Sentinel lymph node biopsy (SLNB) using methylene blue dye accurately detects lateral neck lymph node metastases in papillary thyroid carcinoma (PTC) patients. This method aids decisions regarding selective neck dissection for clinically node-negative (cN0) PTC.
