Texture based localization of a brain tumor from MR-images by using a machine learning approach

This study introduces a machine learning method for brain tumor localization using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) FLAIR scans. The approach integrates superpixel features with texton-map images, achieving 88% dice overlap for whole tumor localization.
