Sexual function through decades: association with androgens and cardiometabolic features

Female sexual function declines with age, starting in the 30s and continuing through the 60s. While androgens decrease, only dehydroepiandrosterone sulfate (DHEAS) showed a link to sexual dysfunction in postmenopausal women.
