Recombinant lactobacillin PlnK adjusts the gut microbiome distribution in broilers.

This study successfully expressed plantaricin K (PlnK) in E. coli and demonstrated its broad-spectrum antibacterial activity. PlnK also modulated the gut microbiome and downregulated immune pathways in broilers.
