Glycoform-Specific Visualization in Immunohistochemistry by "Lectin Inhibition"

Conventional antibodies cannot distinguish between glycoprotein forms in tissues. Lectin inhibition, however, allows for the specific visualization of a particular glycoform using immunohistochemistry in tissue sections.
