Perinatal Infections: An Important Etiological Risk Factor for Mineralizing Angiopathy.

Perinatal infections like premature rupture of membranes and neonatal sepsis may cause mineralizing angiopathy in children. This study found a higher prevalence of these infections in affected children compared to controls.
