Non-hepatic Cancers Independently Predict Liver Decompensation Events

Patients with chronic liver disease and a history of non-hepatic cancer face a higher risk of liver decompensation. This finding highlights the importance of considering cancer history for prognosis and treatment in liver disease patients.
