Sensitivity of Medicare Data to Identify Oncologists

The Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) data captures most oncologists, but not all surgical oncologists (SOs). Combining CMS files improves identification of medical oncologists (MOs) and radiation oncologists (ROs).
