Steroid-Responsive Encephalitis in Coronavirus Disease 2019.

A COVID-19 patient developed encephalitis presenting as akinetic mutism, despite mild respiratory symptoms. Steroid treatment improved the condition, suggesting an inflammatory brain response to SARS-CoV-2 infection.
