Background:

High nurse turnover rates present significant challenges for global health management.
Understanding country-specific factors influencing nurse turnover is crucial for retention strategies.

Purpose of the Study:

To investigate factors affecting nurses' turnover intention.
To compare these factors between nurses in Iran and Poland.

Main Methods:

Descriptive cross-sectional study involving 165 nurses in Poland and 200 in Iran.
Utilized Turnover Intention, Job Satisfaction, Work-Family Conflict, and Workplace Support Scales.
Data analyzed using AMOS 24 and SPSS 22.

Main Results:

Identified distinct factors influencing nurse turnover intention in Poland and Iran.
Workplace support and job satisfaction were found to decrease turnover intention among Polish nurses.
Work-family conflict significantly influenced turnover intention in Iranian nurses.

Conclusions:

Implementing flexible work plans in Iranian hospitals can mitigate nurse turnover.
Enhancing teamwork and cooperation in Polish hospitals may reduce nurse turnover intention.
Tailored strategies are necessary to address nurse turnover in different national contexts.
