Thyroid function in neonates conceived after hysterosalpingography with iodinated contrast

Preconceptional hysterosalpingography (HSG) with iodinated contrast, whether oil- or water-based, does not impact neonatal thyroid function. This finding supports the continued use of oil-based contrast in fertility evaluations.
