Neurofilaments in progressive multiple sclerosis: a systematic review.

Neurofilament light (NFL) shows promise as a biomarker for neuroinflammation and treatment response in progressive multiple sclerosis. However, NFL and neurofilament heavy (NFH) do not consistently track responses to neuroprotective therapies.
