Summary

The zero-profile anchored cage (ZP) shows a higher risk of postoperative subsidence compared to the cage-plate construct (CP) in anterior cervical discectomy and fusion (ACDF). While ZP may reduce dysphagia, its stability and subsidence rates require further investigation.
