Abstract:
A fifty-seven-year-old woman had been suffering from chronic nodules on both legs for 17 years. The histologic findings have suggested pancreatic-disease-associated fat necrosis. Up to now, however, no pancreatic disorder has been found and several biological clues indicate that a more plausible explanation may be an immune-mediated injury of the panniculus.
