Fractional iron absorption from enteric-coated ferrous sulphate tablet

Enteric-coated iron tablets show poor iron absorption in women compared to uncoated tablets. Uncoated ferrous sulphate (UCFS) tablets may offer better results for iron deficiency anaemia management.
