Summary

Surgical pathologists can now better identify hereditary parathyroid disease, including multiple endocrine neoplasia (MEN) and hyperparathyroidism jaw tumor (HPT-JT) syndromes. Early recognition of these genetic conditions is crucial for patient management and family screening.
