Summary

Autogenous mandibular outer plate is a viable option for cranioplasty, showing good patient satisfaction and predictable bone graft volume changes. This study evaluated its use in cranial defect reconstruction.

Area of Science:

  • Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
  • Neurosurgery
  • Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery

Background:

  • Autogenous bone is preferred for cranioplasty due to biological advantages.
