Copper Levels in Patients with Unexplained Dysplastic Cytopenia

Copper deficiency can mimic myelodysplasia, but this study found it uncommon in patients with unexplained blood count abnormalities. Routine copper testing is not recommended; focus on patients with specific risk factors and symptoms.
