Summary

Spermine effectively lowers hepatic lipid peroxide levels in rats, both in normal conditions and when induced by carbon tetrachloride (CCl4). This polyamine also reduces CCl4-induced liver enlargement, demonstrating its protective antioxidant role in vivo and in vitro.
