A tracheostomy is a surgical procedure that creates an artificial opening into the trachea, typically at the second or third cartilaginous ring level. Recurrent patellar dislocation in a young patient was treated with trochleoplasty and medial patellofemoral ligament reconstruction. This combined surgical approach addressed underlying patellar instability and trochlear dysplasia.
