Summary

Ultrasonography demonstrates high sensitivity (100%) and specificity (88.2%) for detecting low-grade trochlear cartilage lesions, offering a valuable, accessible tool for early diagnosis of knee pain. This method can aid in outpatient diagnostic workups.
