Relaxin-3 (RLN3) signaling via its receptor RXFP3 in the paraventricular nucleus (PVN) drives binge-eating behavior by inhibiting key neurons. This pathway, particularly prominent in females, highlights RXFP3 as a therapeutic target for eating disorders.
