This study details the application of business analytics in a low-income healthcare facility.

Business analytics descriptive techniques were applied to three years of electronic medical records at a psychiatric center.
Statistical analysis compared outpatient consultation data over the monitored period.
Key performance indicators included physician order entries, diagnoses, prescriptions, and wait times.

Findings:

A significant increase in computerized physician order entries and improved physician recording practices were observed.
Schizophrenia, depressive, and bipolar disorders were the most frequent outpatient mental health conditions.
