Steatohepatitis-Like Changes in Hepatocellular Adenoma

Approximately 15% of hepatocellular adenomas (HCAs) showed steatohepatitic morphology, often linked to nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) risk factors like obesity and diabetes. This finding was not observed in the beta-catenin mutated subtype.

Conclusions:
- Around 15% of HCAs exhibited steatohepatitic changes.
- The absence of steatohepatitic morphology in the β-catenin mutated subtype of HCA provides reassurance for this variant.
