This case study describes a rare T-cell lymphoma in a 63-year-old female presenting with swollen lymph nodes, weight loss, and night sweats. Diagnosis confirmed peripheral T-cell lymphoma, not otherwise specified, via lymph node biopsy.

Observation:

  • Excisional lymph node biopsy was performed for diagnostic evaluation.
  • Histopathological examination revealed findings consistent with peripheral T-cell lymphoma, not otherwise specified (PTCL, NOS).

Implications:

  • This case highlights the importance of considering PTCL, NOS in older patients with unexplained lymphadenopathy and constitutional symptoms.
  • Accurate pathological diagnosis is essential for guiding appropriate therapeutic strategies in T-cell lymphomas.
