Bird-window collisions: different fall and winter risk and protective factors

Bird-friendly windows significantly reduce bird collisions, while mirrored windows and pear trees increase risk, especially for Cedar Waxwings in winter. This study offers evidence for effective mitigation strategies to prevent bird-window strikes.
