Abstract:
Published evidence of the effects of liver diseases on the terminal half-lives of drugs in man is presented. Formulas are given to aid the reader in determining the hepatic clearance of drugs. The effect of various liver diseases on hepatic function is reviewed. Data on 38 drugs are tabulated.
