Do Process-1 simulations generate the epistemic feelings that drive Process-2 decision making?

This study introduces Cone-Cocone Diagrams (CCCDs) to model problem-solving. Confidence in epistemic feelings is shown to be crucial for both fast (Process-1) and slow (Process-2) reasoning, with CCCDs unifying these processes.
