Background:

Heyde's syndrome links aortic valve disease with gastrointestinal bleeding.
Angiodysplasias are common vascular malformations in this condition.

Observation:

A patient presented with symptoms suggestive of Heyde's syndrome.
Upper gastrointestinal angiodysplasias were identified as the source of bleeding.

Findings:

Successful treatment of Heyde's syndrome was achieved.
Bioprosthetic aortic valve replacement was the key intervention.

Implications:

Aortic valve replacement can effectively manage gastrointestinal bleeding in Heyde's syndrome.
This highlights the importance of addressing the cardiac component in patients with unexplained GI bleeding.
