Summary

Xenogeneic stem cell transplantation faces immune rejection. Diminishing T-cell immunity in rats did not prevent host innate immune rejection of pig bone marrow-derived mesenchymal stem cells (BM-MSCs), limiting their regenerative potential in mandibular defects.
