Novel coronavirus pandemic: A clinical overview

The severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) pandemic, originating in Wuhan, has caused millions of cases and deaths globally. While most COVID-19 cases are mild, some progress to severe illness, with no specific medical treatment currently available.
