The US President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) is enhancing efforts to reduce deaths among people living with HIV (PLHIV) by addressing advanced HIV disease (AHD) and opportunistic infections (OIs) through improved diagnostics and treatment strategies.
