Purpose of the Study:

  • To assess the impact of observing IPC activities on undergraduate students' attitudes toward IPC.
  • To evaluate the effect on knowledge acquisition, particularly regarding other professions' roles.
  • To examine differential effects on students from various medical disciplines.

Main Methods:

  • A live broadcast of an interprofessional teaching session was observed by 75 medical and 38 physiotherapy students.
  • Participants completed pre- and post-observation surveys on attitudes, professional responsibilities, and knowledge.
  • Data analysis focused on changes in attitudes and knowledge acquisition.

Main Results:

  • Both medical and physiotherapy students showed improved attitudes toward interprofessional learning.
  • Physiotherapy students significantly adjusted their evaluation of professional responsibilities post-observation.

  • Observing IPC in undergraduate anatomy education positively modifies students' attitudes.
