The Efficacy of Breast Implant Irrigant Solutions: A Comparative Analysis Using an In Vitro Model

Povidone-iodine effectively reduced bacterial contamination on breast implants, outperforming other tested solutions. Further clinical studies are recommended to confirm its efficacy in preventing infections during breast reconstruction.
