  • Developed an agent-based model simulating a population of 2197 individuals.
  • Incorporated social, environmental, and personal influences on weight.
  • Validated the model against empirical data and performed sensitivity analyses.

Main Results:

  • Network-based interventions significantly reduced population weight and BMI (p<0.05).
  • Targeting the most connected individuals decreased overweight and obesity prevalence by 2.70% and 1.38%, respectively.
