- Histopathological examination confirmed a capillary hemangioma.
- The patient's neurological function fully recovered within 3 months post-surgery.
Implications:
- Capillary hemangiomas should be considered in the differential diagnosis of spinal epidural space-occupying lesions.
- Prompt surgical intervention is necessary to avert progressive and irreversible neurological damage.
- This case highlights the importance of considering rare etiologies for spinal cord compression.
