The NLRC4 inflammasome rs385076 polymorphism is significantly associated with autoimmune thyroid diseases (AITDs), particularly Hashimoto's thyroiditis. This finding offers new insights into AITD pathogenesis and potential therapeutic strategies for Hashimoto's thyroiditis.
