Pediatric gastritis and its impact on hematologic parameters

Pediatric gastritis, whether H. pylori-induced or not, does not significantly alter platelet counts or common inflammatory ratios. However, increased lymphocyte counts may indicate non-H. pylori gastritis, while severe cases can lower hemoglobin and hematocrit.
