ZMPSTE24 Is Associated with Elevated Inflammation and Progerin mRNA

Chronic inflammation correlates with increased expression of ZMPSTE24 and lamin A/C mRNA in heart failure patients. These markers also associate with progerin, a marker of premature aging, potentially linked to cardiovascular aging.
