Immunotherapy is a treatment that boosts or manipulates the immune system to fight diseases, including cancer. This review covers recent advances in immunotherapy for small-cell lung cancer (SCLC), an aggressive neuroendocrine tumor. Immunotherapy is emerging as a key treatment strategy following traditional radiotherapy and chemotherapy for SCLC patients.
