Immune cell infiltration, particularly CD8+ T cells and macrophages, correlates with better outcomes in duodenal adenocarcinoma (DA). Higher CD8+ T cell density is linked to reduced lymph node metastasis and lower recurrence risk, suggesting a protective role in DA progression.
