Summary

Mechanical thrombectomy effectively treats acute ischemic stroke from large vessel occlusions. A rare complication, "blooming artifact" on imaging, is presented post-procedure.

Area of Science:

  • Neurology
  • Interventional Radiology
  • Medical Imaging
