Denatonium benzoate bitter taste perception in chronic rhinosinusitis subgroups

Patients with chronic rhinosinusitis without nasal polyps (CRSsNP) showed reduced bitter taste perception, while those with aspirin-exacerbated respiratory disease (AERD) showed heightened perception to denatonium benzoate (DB). This study links DB taste perception to IL-25 levels in CRS.
