Abstract:
The plain abdominal radiographs of 31 patients who had undergone bone marrow transplantation were reviewed retrospectively to determine the radiological abnormalities caused by intestinal graft versus host disease. Abnormal radiological signs were observed in 95% of patients with acute graft versus host disease but none were sufficiently characteristic to differentiate between patients with and without acute intestinal graft versus host disease.
